I would first like to thank everyone for being here to celebrate the life of my dad. This is what he would of wanted after his death.
I thank God for the godly influence that my dad had given us as children. The early morning pray time With my dad whether you wanted it or not was the most consistent legacy for me as it shaped my relationship with God. Even though I protested most mornings it never moved my father.
I spent a considerable amount of time with my dad within the last year and even though his speech was affected by his stroke he would still pray even though you could not understand what he was saying.
My dad believed in the power of pray and that is what I will cherish. The peace I received when my dad went to be with God was that he was in paradise with God.
