Dear Momma,
As the baby of the house (let me just get that out of the way ?), it warms my heart to have the opportunity to write this tribute to you as you celebrate your 75th birthday. Words alone cannot capture the immense love that I have for you, but I will do my best to express just a smidgen of it.

As Dr. Kofo Laja-Olugbesan, you not only excelled in your customs career (I still have fond recollections of watching you at work commanding men at the airport, basically kicking butt ?), you then transitioned to Law and forging your own space as a relentless businesswoman and leader while also inspiring countless others to reach for the stars. Your dedication to your work and your drive for excellence is nothing short of remarkable, and it serves as a testament to your passion and love for helping others.
But it is not just your professional accomplishments that make you extraordinary. It is the way you have managed to balance your career with being an awesome mum. You have always been there for us, supporting us in every step of our journeys, cheering us on when we succeeded and offering a comforting shoulder when we faced setbacks. Your selflessness and unwavering love have been the foundation upon which our family thrives and is evident in our own families and children. You have taught me the value of empathy and compassion.
